What really stood out was Fozzie’s ability to zoom in and out—digging into details with precision in her feature work, while also helping elevate how our team collaborated and shared work. By bringing thoughtful structure to our design critiques and revamping our cross-functional product team’s monthly showcases, she single-handedly made our team ceremonies more engaging, rewarding and, as a result, valuable for everyone involved.

I was Fozzie’s mentor during her internship at Rocket, and I can confidently say she’s ready to hit the ground running as a product designer. From day one, Fozzie approached the work with curiosity, clarity and care. She quickly built knowledge and context in a highly complex fintech space, asked smart questions to accurately and efficiently inform her work, and contributed meaningfully across discovery, design, prototyping and user testing, even taking the lead on multiple features.
Throughout her time at Rocket, Fozzie was highly resilient and flexible in the face of change, whether it was about feature priority, scope, our understanding of user needs, or anything else. She was also able to work effectively within a cross-functional product pod with little to no oversight, turning constructive and critical feedback from users, stakeholders and partners into clear design improvements.
I had the privilege of collaborating with Fozzie at Rocket, where she helped create design experiences in the capital markets. Fozzie is a fantastic designer and IC -- quick to own tasks and reliable to complete them on time. She's a resilient communicator -- delivering a sense of calm in stressful, shifting, high-paced situations. She excels at explaining her design decisions, while always open to feedback on how to improve.
