There's a seat for everyone.
I came into design by the way of film production, from a local technical school where I learned how to write stories and work with other creatives to make those stories real. I fell in love with that creative collaboration, which took me into art school, and eventually into the world of design. I found that production and design spaces are the same: great work is not just what you create, but how you’ve combined perspectives to deliver a unified vision.
Throughout university into my professional career, I’ve honed my skills in designing with people from diverse backgrounds and cultivating an openly curious, educational space where we can all elevate our craft—even if you’re not traditionally a designer.
As I grow in my creative practice, I’m seeking out spaces that aren’t afraid of experimenting with procresses, that advocates for and maintains a high level of craft even while moving quickly, and cultivates a space for cross-displicine learning—where everyone can show up as their authentic selves and have a seat at the table.
In my free time, you can find me reading literary fiction, listening to post-punk, or cleaning up stray hay from my rescue bunny.
